Photowalk 2009 the shot I chose.

TTWWPW

At 10:00 am on the 18th of July it was overcast and misty (not at all unusual for Santa Cruz), thankfully as the photowalk started the fog cleared and left us with some high wispy clouds.  About 25 of us gathered at the clock tower at the end of Pacific Ave. here in Santa Cruz. The route took us down Pacific and into the historic house area on Walnut Ave. Then the pedestrian bridge which crosses San Lorenzo river.  The photos are due this Saturday you can see my and other submissions at http://worldwidephotowalk.com/santa-cruz-ca-usa/ The photowalk was fun and interesting at the same time. Its neat to hit the streets with a bunch of like minded rabid photographers. Anyway after it was all over I walked home form the downtown area. I wandered through Neary Lagoon on the way home and snapped this image. Its hard to believe that such a cool looking place is a sewage treatment plant 😎  Anyone whos interested in photography should participate in next years photowalk.
